With the African American community plagued with high blood pressure, heart disease, high chlorestrol, and Type II Diabetes, TEAM PinkNGreen has decided to do our part to help stomp out these ills by taking and promoting the Healthy Body Challenge! Too many are suffering in silence (like I have been...keeping my dirty little secret under wraps that I suffer from extremely high blood pressure).

 

PinkNGreenGirl is taking the initiative to support the health targets of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in helping to make the necessary changes for improved health.  We want to create a positive cycle of wellness so we can continue to be of "service to all mankind." Because of this, PinkNGreenGirl endorses Soul Purpose, the only direct sales African American, woman-owned company that is certified through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBNEC)! Along with it's strategic partner, Youngevity (a nutritional company that has been in business since 1997). These companies believe in wellness from the inside out!

 

After contacting my licensed health and wellness coach, Soror Terri Jackson Carson, who shared with me some frightening health statistics of African Americans (a number I now fall into...), I was more than on board to begin my Healthy Body Challenge immediately. As soon as I began to take the challenge, I saw improved changes in my health. After three weeks on the challenge...I was SOLD and decided that PinkNGreenGirl would whole-heartedly endorse Soul Purpose/Youngevity and the Healthy Body Challenge initative!

 

Our Health Mission: TEAM PinkNGreenGirl is committed to living YOUNGER, LONGER by improving our health, wellness, and beauty from the INSIDE OUT, helping to save lives and support the health of Sorors, WORLDWIDE, ONE day at a time. 

 

Our Health Goal: Our Goal is to have 1908+ Sorors become hypertension--FREE, Diabetic-FREE, while losing weight and gaining health. Thus, lowering the occurance of heart disease by taking the Healthy Body Challenge with PinkNGreenGirl. "We help each other and know there's NO other like OUR sisterhood"...let's take this challenge together, improve our lives and of those we love.
